Profile

Dr. Margaret Akpan is an erudite scholar of Theatre Arts at University of Uyo.
She started her academic career with University of Cross River State anf later joined Univesity of Uyo as a graduate assistant.
She is highly experienced both in the class room and in the field. At the University, she teaches 15 courses and supervises post graduate and undergraduate student. Her amiable disposition and attention to detail, has made her a two term Head of Department for at the Department of Theatre arts. At the field, she has been a Costumier and Make-Up Artist for several award winning acts and plays.
Her research in Theatre Technology and Directing has given birth to several Journal Artciles and Book Chapters. Majority are open access in this knowledgebase.
She is a member of professional bodies such as Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and is happily married and blessed with beatiful children.
